YOGA BREATHING TECHNIQUES
Yoga breathing (or Pranayama) balances our energy and stabilises our mood. It is the most accessible and easiest technique when you need to calm the nervous system or a quick boost of energy.
I use this as a tool to help my clients especially those who are going through emotional eating. This will] calm the mind and become aware of triggers that leads into emotional eating.
Through regular practice, it can help to cope anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, improved focus, and increased self-awareness.
EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT) TAPPING
In traditional Chinese medicine, Chi (known as Prana in Sanskrit or Energy Force) runs along 14 main meridian pathways in our human body. When any of the meridian shows signs of deficiency or blocked, it affects our physical, mental and emotional well-being. Hence, EFT Tapping helps to stimulate these paths to reduce emotional stress and negative emotions which may be the reason for weight gain and chronic fatigue.
Meditation Journaling brings self awareness by jotting notes on our thoughts, feelings, and sensations as they arise. When we write or doodle (yes, you can doodle) on paper, we are able to clear our mind, reflect and gain perspective on any given situation.
Meditation journaling serves as an internal landscape of our situation and thoughts as we document our process. By journaling you will gain a deeper understanding of who you are and develop greater understanding of the situations.
